Services

We at The LAKE DOCTORS of California pride ourselves on offering quality, professional aquatic services to our patients all over the

Western United States. Our intentions are to keep your water-oriented environment as attractive as possible for viewing from the

surrounding residences, walkways and/or general areas. We strive to maintain rigid water quality standards and services that

enhance boating, fishing, swimming and all water sports activities.

Aquatic
Maintenance:

We have been providing yearly, monthly, weekly, and even bi-weekly maintenance for many of our patients for over 30 years. This includes intensive management techniques and testing of water quality, maintenance and management of aquatic landscape features which include lakes, ponds, reservoirs, creeks, rivers, lagoons, streams, and waterfalls. Our maintenance teams service lakes and aquascapes at private residences, residential complexes, retail and commercial office complexes as well as lakes and aquascapes under the care of homeowners associations and golf course maintenance teams.
Aquatic Management /
Water Quality Balancing:

After removing nuisance plants and algae from the site, we are able to offer very effective, yet very safe follow up chemical treatment.  These chemicals are applied by our professional, licensed and trained applicators who properly administer precise amounts of needed herbicides and / or algaecides.  All of the chemicals and additives used by our company are EPA registered and environmentally safe.  There are absolutely no negative environmental side effects of our aquatic management techniques and therefore fish, ducks and other wildlife are always protected - never harmed!  Our foremost goal is to protect our natural environment and your health while making your aquascape naturally beautiful and functional!
Aquatic Plant Harvesting/Restoration:

This method is often used on many of our patients overgrown lakes and ponds to rid the aquatic environment of nuisance and/or invasive plants.  Our specialized mechanical harvesters are equipped with pontoons and paddle wheels which allow for agility across the lakes, while linear cutting “teeth” lower five feet deep into the water to cut and remove the aquatic plants and algae.  The “trimmed” material is then pulled up and stored on our equipment by means of conveyors and hydraulics.  This material can then be transferred to our self contained, hydraulically actuated loading and unloading trailers, which then haul and offload all the removed nuisance organic material.
